YICCA 26/27 – International Contest of Contemporary Art
YICCA International Art Contest 26/27 is an international competition open to artists and groups of artists from around the world. The contest welcomes both established and emerging artists working in a wide range of contemporary art forms.
Contemporary Art in All Media
Artists may submit contemporary artworks in a variety of media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, graphic art, mixed media, video, installation, and performance. The competition is intended to provide artists with opportunities for international exposure and connections within the contemporary art community.
18 Finalists Selected
An international jury will select 18 artists to participate in the final exhibition in Venice. Finalists will have the opportunity to exhibit their selected work and gain visibility among critics, curators, gallery owners, art institutions, and other arts professionals.
Selected works will also be included in the YICCA catalogue, which will be distributed to finalists and made available to professionals and institutions attending the exhibition inauguration. An advertising campaign will accompany the competition and its various stages.
Prizes
The competition offers the following cash prizes:
First Prize: €3,000
Second Prize: €1,000
Third Prize: €500
Special Student Prize: €1,000
In addition to the cash prizes, all 18 finalists will exhibit their selected artworks in Venice and receive the associated promotional and catalogue opportunities.
Applications and Deadline
The contest is open to artists or groups of artists from any country. All forms of contemporary artwork listed above are eligible.
