Art Call Opportunity
The Art and Earth exhibit will be showcased at the Berkeley Art Works, 116 North Queen Street, Martinsburg, WV, from Wednesday, April 24th, to Saturday, June 1st, 2024. The exhibit is open to visual artists across the continental United States, aged 18 and above, working in any fine art or fine craft medium, the exhibit encompasses 2- or 3-dimensional, representational, abstract, or non-representational works. Entries, need to have been completed within the last three years and not previously exhibited at Berkeley Art Works. Work must be original.
This year's exhibit will be juried by Abigail Gomez, Adjunct Professor of Art at Shenandoah University. Ms. Gomez, the first Latina to chair the Virginia Commission for the Arts, brings a wealth of experience, including her role as the Founder and Director of Arte Libre VA. The exhibit offers awards for Best in Show, Merit Awards, and Honorable Mentions, with a total prize fund of up to $1000.
