Call for Entry for California Artists

The Gallery is proud to present the annual juried exhibition, "California Perspectives: A Premier Juried Exhibition," a contemporary survey of art in California that garners over 4,000 entries each year. This showcase unveils new art movements across the state, fostering lasting relationships with artists and their communities. Over the years, it has evolved into a pivotal platform for discovering artists for our other gallery exhibitions.

Open to all living artists aged 18 and above residing in California, this exhibition invites original artworks completed within the past three years across all mediums. With an annual award pool exceeding $2,200, participants have the chance to win various prizes, including a unique opportunity for a solo exhibition.

Entry is accessible at a nominal fee of $20 for single submissions, while artists can submit a cohesive body of work (5 – 10 pieces) for a solo show at just $80.

As we strive to enhance and modernize the exhibition continually, we aim to reach new and larger audiences both during the call for entries and the exhibition itself. Join us in celebrating the diverse creative movements thriving in California, showcasing artists at all career stages and providing them with the opportunity to compete for prestigious awards, including the coveted solo show opportunity.
