Event History
YAA is one of the oldest art associations in the country. It was founded in 1905 and was incorporated in the 1960s as a non-profit and governed by an all volunteer Board of Directors. The York Art Association is a pillar in the community for celebrating visual arts. YAA holds 7 exhibits a year, offers year round art education programs, maintains a membership of over 350 active members and a community reach of over 2k.

YAA Mission Statement: The mission of the York Art Association is to encourage and develop interest in the visual arts; to provide opportunities for education through classroom instruction, workshops, lectures and publications; to support interaction within the community and to provide a venue for members and non-members to exhibit their work in a gallery setting.

Works digitally submitted/accepted may be used for promotional purposes.
Image Usage Rights
Digital images of works submitted will primarily used for office/gallery purposes during intake. Accepted works may be photographed and or video tapped for promotion of the exhibition and YAA.
Call for Entry For Visual Artists
Please note: THIS IS AN IN PERSON EXHIBIT. ALL ACCEPTED ARTWORKS MUST BE HAND DELIVERED FOR INTAKE.
The York Art Association is happy to announce a Call for Art for the 51st Annual Open Juried Exhibition! The art call opened on June 6th, 2022. The entry deadline is September 23, 2022 at noon.
Dr. Jennifer Thompson from the Philadelphia Museum of Art is the juror for this exhibition.
The art call is open to all fine artists of all mediums, including sculpture. The prospectus information and important dates are available in the PDF attachment as well as posted on the YAA website.
