This is an open juried NATIONAL art competition and exhibition. Over $5,000 in total cash awards include $1,000 Best of Show, $500 First Place, $250 Second Place.
Work must be original, completed within the last two years, and not have been previously shown in any exhibit at The Haggin Museum in Stockton, CA. Qualifying media for two dimensional works include: acrylic, oil, watercolor, gouache, casein, mixed media, encaustic, pastel, pencil, charcoal, pen and ink, batik, scratchboard, hand-pulled prints (e.g., lithograph, etching, engraving, and serigraph). Three-dimensional works may include sculpture done in traditional media, constructions, assemblages, suspended forms, soft sculpture and light forms.
