Our second year hosting this amazing opportunity. We are requiring a $10 application fee because we received so many applications last year. We are also limiting applications to the VISUAL ARTS.
The ACE Artist in Residence Program will provide a VISUAL ARTIST the opportunity to reflect, relax, and create in the inspiring mountains of Alta, Utah. The program is offered in partnership with the Alta Chamber and Visitors Bureau.
The 2022 Art Genre will be VISUAL ARTS.
The program would provide the selected artist with:
- 7 consecutive days of housing in the month of August 2022 at the Goldminer's Daughter Lodge
- * Housing will include a kitchenette
- * Access to a private studio, if needed.
- $1000 stipend for supplies, food, travel etc.
- Invitation to attend any ACE events during the stay.
- Other guests are not part of the residency. Pets are not allowed.
The deadline for applications is June 15, 2022 at midnight.
This program is in partnership with the Alta Chamber & Visitors Bureau and is supported by Goldminers Daughter Lodge.

Our goal is to provide a peaceful, inspiring setting for the selected artist. We do ask that the artist provides a small community event, a blog post, a social media takeover or something they may have in mind that can help tell the story of their creative time at Alta. This can happen either during their stay or afterwards.
