Call for Entries for Artists - Open Theme
Idea in Art is an open theme art competition. CollexArt is excited to explore your work whether you are focusing on a series or a specific concept. All artwork will be reviewed online.
CollexArt is an online gallery that was launched in 2019. It is run by Kodexio, a company that specializes in developing solutions for art organizations. Collexart showcases contemporary artists worldwide, and currently features 58 artists in artist profile pages. There are 12 featured permanent exhibitions.
This call for entry is open to all artists over 18 years of age regardless of geographical location.
AWARDS and Participation Benefits
- Purchase Award of $1,000*
One artist will be awarded the Purchase Award at the conclusion of this call. Please read about the Purchase Award on our website.
- The CollexArt Grand Prize of $5,000 – will identify a single artwork as the best of the year. The Grand Prize will be awarded in March of 2025. The prize will go towards the acquisition of the artwork, including if applicable, production, framing, shipping and customs costs.
- $1,770 in Artist Websites Powered by FolioLink
5 artists will be awarded one-year of FolioLink artist website service which includes the option to renew at a discounted subscription rate after the first year.
- CollexArt Store and a Dedicated Artist Page
Submitting artists may be invited to be featured in our Artist Profile Pages, have their work included in the CollexArt Store and in the curated Online Exhibit Space.
- Additional Artist Exposure
Artists whose work catches the attention of the curators, but who do not receive a Purchase Award or an Artist Profile Page, may be invited for exposure in CollexArt Submission Highlights.

Entry Fee: $35.00 for up to 10 images and $2 each for each additional image up to 20 images in total. (The entry fee can be applied to a CollexArt membership).
