CONTRASTS Art Contest

"Contrasts" invites artists to explore the dynamic interplay of tension and harmony in contemporary art.
This call for entries focuses on the dualities that define human experience—light and shadow, warmth and coolness, movement and stillness.
Open to both emerging and established artists, the contest seeks compelling visual interpretations of contrast in all its forms.

Deadline and selections

Application deadline: 30 June 2025
Final selections: 3 July 2025
12 artworks will be selected for the final collective exhibition.

Collective exhibition

Location: Cannaregio 1145 – Venice – Italy
Opening-vernissage: Saturday, 6 September 2025, at 5:30 PM
Exhibition dates: 6-20 September, 2025

Personal exhibition in Venice

A great opportunity for the winner of the contest to exhibit in a personal exhibition in Venice.
The dates of the exhibition will be decided together with the winner artist.

Art categories

All art categories and techniques are permitted.
Including: paintings, sculptures, mix media, digital graphic, Ai generated, photographies, performances and installations.
The contest is addressed to emerging and established artists.
The maximum size for the artworks is 2×2 meters.

How to apply

Application fee: 25€
Each additional artwork +15€
Is possible to add up to 10 artworks for each artist, also if with different media. Upload up to 3 images for each work added.
Fill in the online form to complete your application.
You can pay the entry fee with Cards or Paypal.
