Warbling Open Call: London Group Exhibition, December 2025
Warbling invites artists to submit work for Thrown Over Small Shoulders, a group exhibition running 16–21 December 2025 at 65a Charlotte Street, Fitzrovia, London.
Each Warbling Open Call begins with a title—this time, Thrown Over Small Shoulders. Artists are encouraged to interpret the phrase in relation to their own practice, though the exhibition is not bound to a fixed theme. Instead, the show will develop organically through the diversity of submissions, shaped by the dialogue between selected works and the exhibition space itself.
Submissions are welcome from international, UK, and London-based artists, across all mediums of visual art. Works should be new within the last three years, with a maximum width of 200cm. Artists may submit up to five pieces for consideration.
Founded in 2018, Warbling is an independent artist-run platform curating thoughtful, temporary exhibitions of quiet contemporary art in London and abroad. Each show centres on a title and aims to bring together artists from around the world.
