What Makes this event different?
Free Submission. Only the selected photographers will pay a participation fee. Photographic work will be printed and framed by the gallery. If you wish, your work can be sold on your behalf. Work will be exhibited online and on social media.
Call for Entries for Photographers: Portrait
The Glasgow Gallery of Photography is a new non-profit gallery space in Glasgow Scotland. The gallery is running one of its final 2-week long exhibitions in September. The title for the exhibit is Portrait. We welcome images around the theme portraiture. The call is an open call for all photographers. Submit up to 10 images of all genres for this photography exhibition in this new public gallery. Photographers will be selected for the 2-week long exhibition.
You can send your best images. We want work from established as well as emerging photographers.
This is a unique opportunity to bring your work to an audience of Artist, Photographers, and Creatives as well as the public. Scottish and International photographers are welcome.

How to participate:
Submission for this exhibition is FREE. If your work is selected there is a participation fee of £32.00
This covers the cost of everything.
We will print and install and de-install the work in the space.
Local photographers are free to collect their work afterwards.
The deadline for this exhibition is 1st September 2022
STEP 1: Choose up to 10 images that are 300ppi
and 3000 Pixels minimum on the shortest side. Work will be displayed various sizes.
(You will be asked to resubmit if you do not follow these guidelines)
STEP 2: Name your image file. JohnSmith1.jpeg etc
(If you do not name your images correctly they could be lost or misplaced and delay the exhibition, please only use your name, do not include image titles or any other information)
STEP 3: Make sure your image is a JPEG, we can only except jpegs as this is what the printing company that we use requires.
STEP 4: Send us your 1 to 10 jpegs via Wetransfer/Dropbox (These are free to use) to Submissions@glasgowgalleryofphotography.com
Please tell us your name and Nationality (these will be displayed along with your selected images.
