JRNL

Email Friend Add to Favorites Report Listing

JRNL is FotoFilmic's new quarterly print publication launching this July! Each edition publishes 12 analog photographers curated by a renowned guest editor around a contemporary theme.

For this first Summer '19 edition all entries will be reviewed by French critic and editor Lucy Conticello (Paris, France), Director of Photography of 'M', the magazine of France's leading newspaper 'Le Monde'.

The theme is "SUB-LANDS: MATERIAL LYRICISM' inviting works exploring all notions of the Postmodern Landscape, be it natural, social or fictional. The JRNL theme ties into many of contemporary photography's preoccupations inviting fresh perspectives on the mundane, the dystopic, the overlooked, the transitory, the in-between, the sublime as it relates to the photographic landscape.

All 12 photographers will be awarded a full spread each, with 1 grand winner also making the JRNL cover! Each winner will receive a free complimentary JRNL copy in July.
