TERAVARNA, a contemporary art gallery based in Los Angeles, California, offers artists from around the world regular opportunities to showcase their work through themed international art competitions held every two weeks. The gallery provides a supportive platform for both emerging and established artists to share their creative vision and reach a wider audience.

The upcoming 12th LANDSCAPE International Juried Art Competition invites artists to explore the theme of nature and the environment. From forests and rivers to deserts and coastlines, we welcome your interpretation of the natural world in any visual medium.

All submissions will be considered for cash awards totaling up to $3,500, and selected works will be featured online for global exposure.

This is a fully online competition—no need to worry about shipping your artwork across borders or dealing with customs delays. In today’s digital age, we’ve made it easier than ever for artists worldwide to participate. Simply capture a high-quality image of your artwork—clear, well-lit, and free from glare or shadows. Once your images are ready, visit our official website to complete your submission. It’s that simple—creativity has no boundaries, and neither does your art.

Unleash your artistic passion for landscape by interpreting nature’s most delicate muse through your unique creative lens—whether it's with brushstrokes, photographs, or sculpted forms. This competition welcomes a rich diversity of perspectives across both 2D and 3D mediums, including painting, sculpture, photography, digital art, printmaking, fiber art, mixed media, installations, and more. Selected winners and runners-up will be awarded cash prizes up to $3,500, a certificate of recognition, and the spotlight they deserve through social media features and a feature in our annual art book—an enduring showcase of artistic excellence. 

The entry fee for the competition is $15 per artwork and artists can submit a maximum of 10 artworks per submission. If you wish to submit more, you can create a fresh submission for another 10 artworks and submit as many as you want. The deadline for the competition is 31 July, 2025.
