We are excited to announce the launch of the inaugural NTU x Vieunite Art Prize.
This collaboration between Nottingham Trent University and Vieunite, a contemporary and innovative new platform for artists to showcase and sell their work, is a great opportunity for aspiring and established artists alike.
Prizes.
The first place winner will receive a cash price of £1,000, as well as a first generation Vieunite Textura digital canvas. The runner-up will receive £750 and third place will receive £500, and all shortlisted finalists will have their work showcased at the official award ceremony to be held at the Nottingham School of Art and Design in November 2022.
Judging Panel.
The distinguished judging panel will include Dr Benedict Carpenter van Barthold, Principal Lecturer Fine Art at NTU, Yasmin Canvin, freelance curator & artist, and Tom Godfrey, Director of the Bonington Gallery.
Apply.
All artists are invited to apply for the prize.
The theme of this year’s competition is Biophilia, so all artwork submitted should celebrate a connection with life in some way. Works can be original pieces that are optimised for the Textura digital canvas or they can be existing work that has been adjusted to suit the artwork submission requirements (these can be found here: https://bit.ly/3LXI8k9).
Artwork can be created in any medium and can be any category including fine art, moving digital pieces and graphic illustrations.
Applications open on Wednesday 1st June 2022 and close on Friday 30th September.
Good luck!
