The *Original* international small art phenomenon 6x6 returns for its 15th year! 2021 was a great rebuilding year. Now in 2022 we are hoping to exhibit and even greater number of amazing artworks from all around the world.
Copyright Policy
Copyright belongs to the artist upon creation and remains as such regardless of the buyer. It is important to include contact information with your piece so that the buyer can contact you.
Art Call for Visual Artists
For the past 14 summers Rochester Contemporary Art Center’s (RoCo) 6x6 exhibition has brought together thousands of original artworks, that are made and donated by celebrities, international & local artists, designers, youth and YOU. Individual artists may enter up to four artworks of any medium (2D or 3D).
The works must be six inches square and signed only on the back. They will be exhibited anonymously. Participation is in this art call is free.
All artworks will be on exhibit and for sale to the public for $20 each to benefit RoCo. Artists’ names are only revealed to the buyer upon purchase. Artworks remain on display through the end of the exhibition. There is a limit of four artworks per school or school group (no limit for colleges). Please be sure each artwork is accompanied by 1 entry for for each artwork. Entry forms can be printed from roco6x6.org.
This annual exhibition 6x6, raises critical funds needed to pay artists, maintain our building and administer contemporary art programming to our community this coming year!
