We are international video mapping competition in JAPAN since 2012! 1minute Projection Mapping is an international competition and one of the biggest mapping contests displaying video works onto an existing building in Asia area.Projection mapping has been recognized as a cool and hot media art in the world. In Japan,the “1minute Projection Mapping” started in 2012, and many great artworks from the world have been demonstrated at several art festivals.It has been a great opportunity for many people to understand and enjoy "projection mapping" in open space. We change the festiavl place to Tokyo from 9th edition in 2021.You can see various and high quality works from all over the world,It is the the one and only projection mapping project. “1 minute projection mapping” was held as a projection mapping show to the first architecture in the country which was held in Zushi City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Since the following year it has been held annually as a festival of art called Zushi Media Art Festival (ZMAF). And in 2012, we will hold the first “1 minute projection mapping”. 1minute Projection Mapping in TOKYO will be held again this year.

Copyright Policy

1.The copyright of the video and sound source data of the submitted work belongs to the creator and the creator’s team. However, at the time of screening, under the management responsibility, Projection Mapping Association of Japan (aka Association) may make several adjustments (such as image brightness, contrast, color tone, volume adjustment etc.). The creator and the creator’s team shall not exercise any moral rights against Association. 2.Under the management of Association, the organizing executive committee, co-sponsors and Association shall reserve the rights to use the submitted video data permanently and have the rights to screen it at the same venue as well as at related events, demonstrations and other projects after this project. 3.Association, the organizing executive committee and co-sponsors can record videos and photos of this project. 4.Association, the organizing executive committee and co-sponsors will be able to develop and sell various goods and products using the recorded photos and videos of the projection mapping performed at the venue.

Image Usage Rights

5.The organizer, co-sponsor, photographer own all the ownership of the recorded photos and videos taken by the organizer, co-sponsor and planner. 6.The images provided and the recordings taken may be used by Association, the organizing executive committee, co-sponsors and the competition sponsors for publicity and reporting of the project, or introducing projection mapping or events etc. 7.If there are co-sponsors, sponsors, cooperating companies etc., under the management of Association, the screenings etc. can be used for product promotion and promotion of each company. 8.Upon submitting entry document, the applicant agrees to all of the above and promises not to exercise copyright or moral rights against any use, including secondary use, by the Association, the organizing executive committee and co-sponsors.
