What Makes this event different?

In the face of erasure, we fight back with visibility. 50 Postcards is more than an exhibition—it’s a movement. By flooding spaces worldwide with Queer art, we declare: We exist. We create. We resist. This project funds exhibitions in Washington, D.C., Mexico City, and Baltimore, ensuring financial barriers don’t silence Mexican artists at World Pride 2025. Each postcard features a unique artwork with a QR code linking to a 1-minute artist video—a direct message to President Trump. These postcards transform any space into a pop-up Queer art show, turning homes, cafés, and offices into sites of resistance. Call for Artists: Work in any medium (painting, photography, digital, collage, etc.) that translates to a 4x6-inch postcard. Themes: Queer identity, resistance, resilience, activism, joy, and defiance. A 1-minute video message to Trump. How It Works: Selected works will be printed as postcards and sold individually or as a set. A portion of sales supports participating artists; the rest funds exhibitions and shipping Mexican artists’ work. Deadline: March 20, 2025 Apply at: BureauQueerArt.com

CALL FOR ARTISTS: PRIDE NOT PERMISSION

In the face of erasure, we fight back with visibility. With this project, we’re flooding the world with queer creativity, resilience, and defiance—filling homes, offices, classrooms, churches, and Pride pop-ups with powerful art that refuses to be silenced.

Imagine a global wave of queer expression—unlimited pop-up exhibitions for Pride 2025, each one a bold, undeniable declaration: We exist. We create. We resist.

Your support makes this possible. 50 Postcards is not just an exhibition—it’s a movement. Funds raised will help bring local Mexican artists into the spotlight at World Pride 2025 and beyond, ensuring that financial barriers don’t silence their voices. With exhibitions in Washington, D.C., Mexico City, and Baltimore, this project amplifies the diverse, radical, and urgent creativity of our time.
