OPEN CALL — SFUMATO ART MAGAZINE | ISSUE 03
Sfumato Art Magazine is pleased to announce the Open Call for Issue 03, a non-thematic international edition shaped by an expanded curatorial framework and diverse contemporary voices.
Issue 03 continues Sfumato’s commitment to presenting artists whose practices demonstrate conceptual clarity, material strength, and meaningful engagement with contemporary visual culture. This edition invites artists across disciplines and career stages to submit work for consideration in both print and digital publication.
Curatorial Structure
This issue features two dedicated guest-curated sections:
• Figurative Practices — Guest Curator: Carla E. Reyes
• Abstract / Non-Representational Practices — Guest Curator: Marie-José Robinson Kafri
In addition, the magazine includes editorial sections for artists working across:
• Sculpture
• Installation
• Photography
• Digital & New Media
• Conceptual & Interdisciplinary practices
While the issue is non-thematic, submissions are evaluated thoughtfully, with attention to artistic integrity, originality, and resonance within today’s cultural landscape.

Submission Details
Submission Fee: $8
Publication Fee (upon acceptance): $29
The submission fee supports the administrative and curatorial review process. The publication fee is only applicable to selected artists and contributes to production, design, printing, and global distribution.
