YICCA 25/26 - International Contest of Contemporary Art
The YICCA International Art Contest 25/26 is a global contemporary art competition open to artists worldwide. Welcoming both emerging and established creators, YICCA celebrates artistic diversity across every medium — including painting, sculpture, photography, installation, video, mixed media, and performance. This artistic variety serves a dual purpose: to elevate the profile of participating artists and to facilitate their entry into the dynamic and ever-evolving international market of contemporary art. This international platform offers artists the chance to gain recognition and share their creative vision on a global stage.
The competition seeks to serve as a launchpad for artists, affording them a unique opportunity to break into the international art scene. By participating in YICCA, artists gain access to an influential global network that can significantly impact their careers.
YICCA contest, aims to enhance the visibility of the artists, foster connections with critics, curators, gallery owners, and art institutions, and provide maximum exposure through an advertising campaign. The selected artists’ works will also be published in the “YICCA” catalogue, distributed to finalists and professionals during the exhibition’s inauguration.
Applications
The contest is open to all artists or groups of artists and professionals from any country. All kinds of contemporary artworks are allowed in the art contest: drawings, paintings, sculptures, photographs, graphics, mixed media, video, installations and performances. The jury’s final decision will lead to a selection of 18 artists that will participate in the final exhibition.
Prizes
The winners will receive the following prizes:
First prize: EUR 3000,-
Second prize: EUR 1000,-
Third prize EUR 500,-
Special prize for students EUR 1000,-
Moreover, 18 finalist will be able to:
exhibit the selected artworks in Venice.
improve the relationship with critics, curators, gallery owners, public and private art
institutions that will have access to this important exhibition
obtain maximum visibility through the advertising campaign that will follow the
competition and all its stages
publish their works in the “YICCA” catalogue which will be distributed free of charge
to the finalists and will be available for professionals and institutions invited during the inauguration of the event
