Art Competition
Our Artistic Excellence art competition is back for its 12th year. We are looking forward to seeing what you've created! Get your artwork spotlighted in Southwest Art and win up to $2,000! All mediums, styles, and subjects are accepted.

Nonmembers: $35 per entry | Members: $30 per entry
The art contest is open to artists who are working in a variety of traditional art media, including watercolor, casein, gouache, egg tempera, oil, acrylic, soft pastel, oil pastel, charcoal, graphite, colored pencil, pen and ink, graphite, charcoal, colored pencil, ink or marker, scratchboard, mixed media and mixed-media collage, silver or other metal point, and printmaking (etching, mezzotint, lithography, woodcut, monotype, mono print, aquatint). Photography, with the exception of minor elements that are incorporated in a collage, will NOT be considered. Sculpture will also NOT be considered - neither will Digital art.
Entries are limited to two-dimensional artwork only. 2-dimensional means that a mixed media cannot exceed one inch in depth.
