THEME: Aging Well for All—Celebrating the Strength and Wisdom of Women
The National Council on Aging is happy to invite photographers/visual artists to share stories of older women who continue to embrace their lives and contribute to their families and communities as they age. While statistically women live longer than men, they often face unique challenges related to health and financial security. NCOA is working to ensure all women have the resources they need to age well. This contest aims to provide a platform to foster dialogue, artistic expression, and drive innovation in the photographic arts toward the goal of aging well for all.

AWARDS
NCOA will grant the following awards:
1 First Prize: $1,000
1 Second Prize: $500
1 Invited Jury Award: $500
1 Public Vote Award: $500
6 Awards of Merit: $250 each
10 Honorable Mentions: $100 each
REQUIREMENTS
Eligibility: U.S. based professional and amateur photographers/visual artists (National Call) are eligible to apply to this Call for Entry
Total Media: Minimum: 2, Maximum: 10

HOW TO ENTER
1) Entrants must use the SubmitArts online entry system. If you do not have an account you will need to create one which you can do from the login page. Look for Create Account.
2) If asked for a code the submission CODE is: 7HYJBP
3) Image resolution no smaller than 1200 pixels and no larger than 4600 pixels (long dimension). Files must not exceed 5MB
4) Please name the file containing only the following info: Artist’s First name-Last-name_image title
You MUST title each image; “untitled” is not allowed.
DEADLINES & INFORMATION
• Applicant submission deadline: April 24, 2023 (midnight, MDT)
• Announcement of award winners: May 12, 2023
• Opening of NCOA Online Gallery: June 12, 2023
• Onsite Exhibition at mosaicARTs Gallery: June 16—July 16, 2023
• Awards mailed to winners: June 30, 2023
