For this art exhibition, Las Laguna Art Gallery invites artists to interpret and depict outdoor scenery and geographical environments, including landscapes and seascapes.
Landscapes traditionally encompass natural scenery such as mountains, valleys, trees, rivers, and forests—often presented as wide views with elements arranged into a cohesive composition.
Seascapes may include geographical features such as shorelines, beaches, and oceans, as well as man-made structures like lighthouses or lifeguard shacks.
Abstract interpretations are also welcome. In abstract works, landscapes may be expressed through color, shape, and mark-making that convey the concept or essence of a landscape rather than literal representation.
Acceptable media include: Acrylic, Airbrush, Charcoal, Collage, Colored Pencil, Computer Art, Digital Art, Digital Photography, Drawing, Encaustic, Fiber Arts, Garments, Glass Art, Graphite, Illustration, Mixed Media, New Media, Oil, Pastel, Pen and Ink, Photo Assemblage, Printmaking, Sculpture, Traditional Photography, Video, and Watercolor.
A select number of artists will be invited to send their work for the in-person exhibition at Las Laguna Art Gallery’s brick-and-mortar location in Laguna Beach, California. All submitting artists will be accepted and will have at least one submitted work displayed and promoted online through the gallery’s website.
**Submission Guidelines:**
- **No Online Fee**: There are no fees for your artwork for the online exhibition.
- **Wall Fee for In-Person Exhibition**: If chosen for the gallery exhibition, a wall fee will apply based on artwork size:
- Maximum size 12” - $25
- Maximum size 20” - $35
- Maximum size 30” - $40
- Maximum size 40” - $60
- For pieces larger than 40”, fees can be discussed individually.
***If selected for an in-gallery exhibition but prefer online-only participation, you can opt out to avoid wall rent and shipping fees, this switch entails no additional costs.
