artBIAS is a joint initiative by TERAVARNA Art Gallery and the Golden Duck Gallery to promote contemporary art on an international level. The first artBIAS displayed works of 77 artists from 31 countries across the world. After its phenomenal success, the galleries are back again with this grand opportunity for artists to leave their imprint on the European art scene. This opportunity not only allows artists to display their work but also to interact with artists, art visionaries, and collectors from all over the world and become a part of the international community.

artBIAS offers an opportunity for every artist to explore the booming European art scene. A collaboration between two galleries from different parts of the world provides a synergy of culture, creativity, and artistic brilliance in the contemporary world that is rare to find. It is an accessible yet, highly prestigious opportunity for any artist to become a part of this grandeur.

Copyright Policy

The copyright for every submitted artwork shall remain with the artist. They shall not be used by either of the galleries except to promote the artists or the artBIAS show on different platforms.

Call For Entry

The 2nd Budapest International Art Show or artBIAS is an endeavor to promote international contemporary art in the heart of Europe - Budapest. This has been launched by the TERAVARNA Art Gallery in very close cooperation with The Golden Duck Gallery. The two galleries are based out of different corners of the world and have joined to create an unforgettable experience for artists, art collectors, and visionaries across the world. 

The show is set to start on 4th June 2024 and ending on 6th July 2024. The GALA OPENING is to be held on 7th June and is going to be a display of artistry, culture, and passion. Artists and collectors alike will get an opportunity to interact with exhibitors, the founders of both galleries and witness an array of live performances and interactions on this grand evening. The visitors shall be presented with numerous artworks, providing every artist with opportunities to be able to sell their work. 

The art show is being organized at the premises of the Golden Duck Gallery, which is based in the heart of Budapest, Hungary. The location is situated along the Banks of the River Danube, which is just in walking proximity from the Hungarian Parliament Building. 

This is an OPEN CALL for every artist who wishes to display their work in a physical art fair to send in their works and apply for the selection process. Only the artists handpicked in the selection round shall get the chance to present their work at artBIAS. The best of the show will be awarded with a guaranteed cash prize. The selection process shall be overseen by TERAVARNA Art Gallery which is a leading name in the contemporary art scene. The gallery is known for its juried international art competitions, artist grants, Marketplace for buying and selling art, and exhibitions to promote artists on multiple levels. 

The submission deadline for the selection round shall close on 15th April 2024. As the selection process shall be held online, artists do not have to send their physical artworks. However, once you get selected, you will be notified and given multiple choices on how you wish to display your artwork at the show including physical shipment and print options. The entry fee for submissions is $20 per artwork.

The theme for the selection process is OPEN and artists are free to send in the artworks based on their best judgement. We accept all 2D and 3D artworks, including but not limited to paintings, sculptures, graphic arts, photography, digital art, installation art and mixed media.
