After Dark: Night, Sky, and Shadow – Photography Call for Entries
What emerges when the light fades?
PhotoPlace Gallery invites photographers to submit work for After Dark: Night, Sky, and Shadow, a juried exhibition dedicated to images created between dusk and dawn.
We welcome a broad range of approaches, including night and astrophotography, urban and street scenes, architectural studies, long exposures, light painting, and experimental techniques. From the glow of city streets to the stillness of rural landscapes, from deep shadow to expansive night skies, this exhibition explores how light, darkness, and time shape both perception and atmosphere.
All photographic styles and processes are encouraged. We are seeking compelling, original work that captures the distinct mood and visual language of the night.
Juror Lance Keimig will select up to 35 images for exhibition at PhotoPlace Gallery in Middlebury, Vermont, along with an additional 40 images for the Online Gallery. All selected works will be included in the exhibition catalog, featured on the gallery’s website, and promoted across social media with links to each artist’s URL.
