Event History
The Prize, now at its 19th edition, has been valorising talents in visual, performative, multimedia and digital art since 2006. With time, Arte Laguna Prize has developped a network of international partners such as foundations, museums, galleries, residences and art spaces, Made in Italy businesses and international brands for special projects. Thanks to this network, the artists that participate can gain visibility and chances of improving their career.
Copyright Policy
Each artist has the rights to the images and to the submitted works but gives to Arte Laguna srl and the Cultural Association MoCA, without any compensation, the rights of reproduction, exhibition, publication, translation and communication to the public, in any manner and without exception, for their works and for the texts participating in the selection. Image Usage Rights
Each artist consents to the free publication of the images and texts in the online platform Arte Laguna World; however, artists can access the platform at any time and cancel their profile. Arte Laguna srl and the Cultural Association MoCA, while fully respecting the moral rights of the author, will exercise these rights for all institutional activities of communication concerning the competition. Arte Laguna Prize opens a new call for photographers and artists. The call has no restriction of age, gender, nationality and artistic background, and the theme is free. Each artist can participate with up to 5 works. The techniques admitted are: photographic art, video art and short films, performances and acting (both on stage and video), digital art, digital graphics and cartoons, environmental and land art, urban art and street art, art design painting, sculpture and installation. For each category, a number of participants will be selected for the final exhibition, in order to grant the same visibility to all disciplines.
Photographs or series of photographs on analog or digital support, and both colored and black and white photographs are allowed. The maximum size allowed is 175 cm per side.
In the jury, as for each edition, important names of the current artistic scene will select the 110 finalists who will compete for the prize of 10,000 euros and will have the opportunity to exhibit in the beautiful 3,000 square meters of the Arsenale Nord in Venice from November 16 to December 8, 2024.
In addition, participants will have the opportunity to access the prizes created in collaboration with international partners:
