Arte Laguna Prize has opened the call for its 20th edition, marking two decades of celebrating and supporting global artists. Counting on an increasing number of valuable partners and connections each year, Arte Laguna Prize offers its experience to help artists develop their careers and create lasting connections with curators and international audiences.
Arte Laguna Prize 20 is the Venice-based International Contemporary Art Competition that invites emerging artists of all backgrounds, including photographers, to showcase their work in a free-themed competition. With two decades of experience, the contest offers a platform for photographers to expand their contacts, gain global visibility, and access valuable resources for career development.
Prominent figures from the art scene will select the 120 finalists across 10 categories, who will compete for the €10,000 prize and exhibit their works in the iconic 3,000-square-meter space of the Arsenale Nord in Venice.
All participants have the additional opportunity to access Special Prizes created in collaboration with international partners:
- artistic residencies
- collaborations with companies
- collaborations with galleries
- participation in art festivals and group exhibitions.
Applications will remain open until July 31, 2025.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: To enter the competition, it is necessary to log in to the Arte Laguna World portal, create the reserved area, fill out the profile and pay the entry fee.
