The open exhibition gives artists the opportunity to show their work in central London and win a range of prizes, including the ING Purchase Prize worth £5,000, as well as specific medium and regional awards, totalling £12,000.

 

Online submissions will be open via a dedicated portal until Tuesday 7 September 2021. The exhibition is scheduled to open at the Mall Galleries on 11 November 2021 with a prize giving and will run until 21 November 2021. All shortlisted works will be included in a fully illustrated print catalogue and an online exhibition, with commentary and introductions by the selectors. 

 

This year’s selectors:

Anna Brady: Anna Brady is Art Market Editor at The Art Newspaper

Adelaide Damoah: British-Ghanaian multidisciplinary artist.

Peter Brown: Bath-based artist.

Roland Cowan: Roland Cowan is an architect, contemporary art collector and trustee of Outset Contemporary Art Fund.

Russell Tovey: actor, author and playwright and host of the Talk Art podcast with the gallerist Robert Diament since 2018.

Tony Humphreys: CEO of the Discerning Eye from 2000 to 2021. 

 

The only limit for artworks is their size: a maximum of 20 inches (50cm) including frame. All styles and mediums are welcome – including painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, film, textile, and more.
