What Makes this event different?
The Glasgow Gallery of Photography has Existed for 6 years and has grown to be one of the biggest photography hubs in Scotland.
The Glasgow Gallery of Photography is delighted to announce an open call for analogue photographers worldwide to submit work for our upcoming exhibition.
In this exhibition, analogue photographs will be displayed digitally within the gallery space. We aim to highlight the timeless beauty and tactile quality of film images while embracing the possibilities of digital presentation. This format allows photographers working with film to share their work with a wider audience — preserving the character of analogue photography in a modern context.
here is no strict theme for this call — we welcome all subjects, styles, and processes shot on film (35mm, medium format, large format, instant, experimental, etc.). From classic black and white to rich colour emulsions and alternative darkroom techniques, we invite submissions that celebrate the diversity and soul of analogue photography.
Open to all photographers, worldwide.
Work must have been created using an analogue (film-based) process.
Submit high-resolution digital scans of your film photographs (minimum 300 dpi).
Each photographer may submit up to 6 images.
