Call for Entries for Photographers
Both professional and amateur photographers and filmmakers of all ages are invited to enter. Artists can submit up to 10 images and/or short films that focus on the key themes of People, Place, Changing Forests, Nature, and A Climate of Change.
Entries will be considered by a judging panel that is made up of experts from the fields of photography, film, geography, and ecology, including distinguished curators, environmentalists, writers and artists, and chaired by Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer, Marissa Roth.
The shortlisted photographers and videographers will show their work in the Earth Photo exhibition at the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) in London (from 17 June to 26 August 2022) and on a national tour to three Forestry England forests later in the year. They will also have the chance to win cash prizes of £250 in each of the categories, and the overall winner will receive unique prizes from the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) and Forestry England.
