For the 11th Portrait International Juried Art Competition, we extend a warm invitation to artists across the globe to bring the depth of human emotion in a half smile like ‘Mona Lisa’ or a deep penetrating look of the ‘Girl in a Pearl Earring’ to the forefront in this unique art competition. Let your imagination take the lead—play with the hidden gestures, embrace the change in facial lines, and redefine the horizons of creation. We welcome your unique interpretations, where every brushstroke and color choice tells a compelling story. Challenge your creative limits, experiment boldly, and transform your vision into an artistic masterpiece. 

This is an online competition, ensuring a seamless submission process without the hassle of shipping physical artwork. Simply capture a high-definition image of your piece, making sure there are no reflections or shadows interfering with its quality. Once your artwork is ready, visit our official website and submit with ease. Embrace this digital era of art and let your creativity shine on an international stage! 

Seek the ultimate shot at interpreting the visual reality in a non-representational way, through colors, clay, canvases, and brushes in 2D and 3D forms. You can submit your artwork in any medium including paintings, sculptures, graphic art, fiber art, printmaking, digital art, mixed media, photography, and installations. The winners of the competition, including the runners-ups shall be in contention to win cash prizes of up to $3500, a certificate of recognition that marks their excellence, social media promotions, and a dedicated space in our annual artbook. 

The competition welcomes submissions at just $15 per artwork, with artists having the freedom to submit up to 10 pieces per entry. Want to share more of your creations? Simply start a new submission for another set of 10 artworks—there’s no limit to how many masterpieces you can enter! Mark your calendars—the deadline to submit is June 30, 2025.
