What Makes this event different?
Hill Center Galleries is located in the historic Old Naval Hospital, which consists of six distinct exhibition spaces, many with 14-foot ceilings and 8-foot windows.
Image Usage Rights
Artists are asked if they are willing to have their pieces included in promotion for the materials. Entries will be used on Hill Center's website, social media, and email marketing. All photos are credited.
This is an open call to artists who reside in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. Original hanging work, in any medium, will be considered that was created after January 1, 2016. The Exhibition will be juried by Caitlin Berry, Fine Arts Dealer and Associate Director at HEMPHILL Fine Arts in Washington, DC.
There are no size restrictions but selected artwork must hang using the Hill Center cable-and-hook system. Some gallery spaces feature 14’ ceilings, and large pieces are welcome. All artwork must be available for sale, with Hill Center Galleries retaining a commission as outlined in the full call.
