How to Build a Small but Mighty Artist’s List

Email Friend Add to Favorites Report Listing

It is more cost-effective to engage with people who are already enthusiastic or are familiar with your art. Creating an email list of people who have bought from you or are interested in keeping in touch, will enable you to generate residual sales opportunities. Once you have set this system up, it is easy to gain momentum.

It doesn't matter where you are in your artist journey ... whether you've got 2 people on your list, 100 or 10,000 - we all need to be growing our audience consistently. But where do you start?

Our upcoming Masterclass covers the in’s and out’s of setting up an artist’s email list. This session with help you navigate the basics and provide you with expert tips to stand out from the crowd, covering:

• Steps in creating and growing your list

• Do’s & Don’ts in managing your list effectively

• Actionable points for you to get started with building your list

Our hosts for this event are art marketing expert, Shirley-Ann O’Neill (MA), co-founder of the VAA and author of the bestselling book ‘Good Art Does Not Sell Itself’. She will be joined by VAA Artist Mentor Karen van Hoey Smith, along with contemporary seascape artist Amy Jobes, who will share their insights into building a list. This event will also provide you with the chance to ask experts your burning questions about setting up your email list. All attendees will receive a guide and glossary of terms.
