About the Theme

• All animal species that fit the theme are welcome.
• For pets, we welcome cats and dogs, of course, as well as things like lizards, guinea pigs, turtles, tetras, gold fish, and so on.
• For farm or rural animals, there's crossover with working animals, and that's fine with us! Animals like horses, goats, sheep, pigs, cows, roosters, llamas, and more are welcome. This is an international art competition, and we welcome species that are farm animals in any culture or country.
• For working animals, dogs and horses often come to mind first, and we love that! Feel free to consider carrier pigeons, draft horses, camels, etc.
• If you have art featuring a domesticated animal that doesn't fit any of these suggestions, please submit it. We can't think of everything, and we love to be surprised by submissions!
