Off the Wall – Sculpture Call for Entries
Art has spent centuries hanging quietly on walls. Off the Wall moves beyond that.
Maryland Federation of Art invites artists to submit free-standing sculptures that claim space—work that commands attention, invites movement, and shifts how we experience a room. We’re looking for pieces that ask viewers to walk around them, step back, or lean in closer—work that could not exist in any other form or setting.
This exhibition celebrates sculpture that is bold, immersive, and fully present.
All entries are blind juried by professional, credentialed art experts. Open to artists residing in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, and Mexico, the call welcomes any original free-standing 3D work that meets exhibition guidelines.
Selected works will be exhibited at Maryland Hall’s Earl Gallery in Annapolis, Maryland, from July 8 – August 15, 2026.
