Alongside photography, TERAVARNA Foundation also hosts a range of themed competitions, offering artists multiple opportunities to express themselves through visual storytelling.

Based in Los Angeles, TERAVARNA is an international art gallery devoted to the exploration and promotion of contemporary artistic expression, and the TERAVARNA Foundation is the non-profit counterpart investing in the support of not only artists, but of communities and the environment all across the globe.

TERAVARNA holds international competitions monthly, thereby bringing together visual creators from around the world and assisting them in achieving recognition, exposure, and valuable artistic opportunities. Today, photographers have a growing platform to display, celebrate, and be respected by the world through the TERAVARNA Foundation.

With overwhelming interest, the submission date has now been extended until 19th August 2026 - extending the time frame for photographers to submit the best work they have!

Picture This! International Juried Photography Competition is a completely free experience for photographers, visual storytellers, and shutterbugs from around the world to share their views. Any type of photography is encouraged. Whether you're capturing striking architecture, an honest and intimate street shot, sweeping landscapes, or intricate macro work, it's time to share your story through the lens. Whether your photos are scenes of reality or they are surreal views, both types of images are worthy of being submitted.

This online photography competition eliminates the hassle of traveling, printing, framing, or mailing your work. Merely upload your best and most well-clicked digital photographic frames on our official site. So long as you have a camera in your arm, whether DSLR, traditional cameras, or mobile photography, it is all about your creativity and originality, and your ability to tell a story.

All genres of photography will be accepted, including conceptual, documentary, fine art, portrait, street, wildlife, nature, travel, experimental photography, etc. The three best winners will be widely promoted on our website, blog, and newsletters, and through our social media channels. Winners will also be issued with an official certificate and get a $5 discount on their next paid TERAVARNA competition, plus a special nomination for our year-end MEGA Award: Winner of Winners.

All entries must be original, well-crafted, and show artistic vision and skill. Best of all, participation is completely free. From beginner photographers to seasoned pro photographers — this is where you can have your views seen by the world, without any monetary restrictions.
