Photography Awards, Entry Guidelines & Exhibition Details
Selected photographers will be eligible for the following cash awards:
Juror’s Award: $300
Director’s Award: $200
Three Honorable Mentions: $50 each
All photographers accepted into the exhibition will have their work published in a printed exhibition catalog available for purchase and will be featured on the gallery’s website and social media platforms.
Entry Guidelines
Entry Fee: $39 for up to 5 images; $6 for each additional image
File Format: JPG or JPEG only
Maximum File Size: 5MB
Image Size: Approximately 2100 pixels on the longest side
Resolution: 300 ppi recommended
Color Space: sRGB recommended for both color and black & white images
Compression: Photoshop quality setting of 7–8 (or equivalent)
All submissions must be uploaded through the online entry form on the gallery website.
Timeline
Submission Deadline: April 6, 2026
Notification of Acceptance: April 20, 2026
Exhibition Dates: June 5 – June 27, 2026
Copyright & Image Usage
Photographers retain full copyright and ownership of all submitted images. Selection for a PhotoPlace Gallery exhibition does not transfer copyright or ownership to the gallery.
If one or more images are selected by the juror, photographers grant PhotoPlace Gallery a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the selected images solely for exhibition and promotional purposes, including:
Inclusion in the printed or digital exhibition catalog
Display on the gallery website and exhibition pages
Promotion of current or future exhibitions through social media, email newsletters, and gallery marketing materials
Photographers will be credited wherever feasible. This license is limited strictly to promotion and documentation of the exhibition and does not allow commercial sale, licensing, or other uses without the photographer’s explicit written permission.
