Call for Art Made by Subtractive Process

Cincinnati-based non-profit arts organization and gallery, Manifest, invites visual artists and designers to submit works created by or inspired by a subtractive process. Open to all traditional and experimental media, including 2D, 3D, and mixed media, this call explores reduction as a creative principle—removing excess to reveal what is essential. SUBTRACTIVITY welcomes works made through carving, etching, scraping, erasing, cutting, or any process emphasizing subtraction, deletion, or removal.

$45 for up to THREE entries submitted. $5 per each additional entry.
