Event History

The ODYSSEY Exhibition morphed from the PCP's AMERICANA Exhibition to provide a more open and inclusive opportunity for photographers. The AMERICANA/ODYSSEY Exhibition have grown substantial over the past five years are now one of the largest shows on the East Coast. Over 250 images will be on display in our unique dual show format (traditional print and digital display on a large, 4K screen.

What Makes this event different?

Once again, the ODYSSEY Exhibition will feature the PCP’s hallmark dual exhibition format, and consists of both a traditional print exhibition as well as a digital exhibition, for photographers who are too far away to deliver physical prints or who otherwise do not wish to print their images. In keeping with tradition, ODYSSEY will once again host the PCP’s Camera Club Challenge where the title will go to the club garnering the most points in the judging.

Image Usage Rights

Usage Rights: By submitting images you are giving PCP the right to use the images for the purpose of marketing the exhibition and for reproduction online. Artists grant the use of their image(s) as stated without further contact or compensation from the PCP. Artist’s recognition is provided with any use. 

ODYSSEY is Back!!!

The Pennsylvania Center for Photography’s ODYSSEY Exhibition is one of the Northeast's premier photographic shows and the Call for Photography runs from January 1st until February 18th. Once again, the ODYSSEY Exhibition will feature the PCP’s hallmark dual exhibition format, and consists of both a traditional print exhibition as well as a digital exhibition, for photographers who are too far away to deliver physical prints or who otherwise do not wish to print their images. In keeping with tradition, ODYSSEY will once again host the PCP’s Camera Club Challenge where the title will go to the club garnering the most points in the judging. The key element to ODYSSEY is that it is an open show and any style, subject, or genre that reflects where your life or photographic journey has taken you is welcome. Apart from limits on overt sexuality (it is a family show) and cruelty towards animal (people are animals too), the only caveat is that the images must be good! ODYSSEY is a large, very high quality show and over 250 images will be displayed. Historically, PCP shows draw entries from 25+ states and a wide variety of foreign countries, so it is a great show to get into and a wonderful viewing experience for the audience!
