ACCOMMODATION
Each artist has a private bedroom with a desk, linens for bed and bath, heat and hot water and Wi-Fi in a suite shared with the one other artist in residence. The suite has a large living room, kitchen, gas stove and garden patio. Artists are responsible for cleaning their room, preparing their own meals and keeping common areas tidy.
STUDIO + SUPPLIES
Artists have 24/hr access to their dedicated studios space. Each space is approx. 200 square feet in a historic boatbuilding workshop with open rafters and original fir floors. The studios include tables, easels, a window and plenty of wall space. We have hand tools, and a small photography darkroom.
We are deeply grateful to call the Cowichan Valley home, and respectfully acknowledge that these lands are part of the traditional Coast Salish territory of the Quw’utsun and the Hul’qumin’num Treaty Group including T'Sou-Ke, Malahat, Halalt, S'tzuminus, Penelakut, Lyackson, Cowichan Lake and Snuneymuxw nations.
