Warbling, an artist-run curatorial project based in London, is excited to announce its latest open call for the upcoming group exhibition titled “Those Beginning Notes.” This exhibition offers artists a platform to showcase their work in a thoughtfully curated space, fostering connections among artists with similar sensitivities.
Exhibition Details:
• Title: Those Beginning Notes
• Exhibition Dates: 29th May – 1st June 2025
• Location: 39a Loughborough Rd, London, SW9 7TB, United Kingdom
About Warbling:
Founded and curated by artist Robyn Graham, Warbling focuses on exhibiting pieces that embody subtlety and softness. The project began as an Instagram account in 2017 and has since evolved into physical exhibitions through international open calls. Warbling aims to create a community where artists can share their gentle artworks in person, fostering meaningful connections within the art world.
Open Call Theme:
Each Warbling open call begins with a title. For this exhibition, the title is “Those Beginning Notes.” Artists are encouraged to interpret this title in a way that aligns with their ongoing practice. While there is no specific theme for the exhibition, submitted artworks will be considered within the context of the exhibition as a whole and how they might interact with other participating artists’ works. This approach allows for a diverse range of ideas and threads to emerge based on the submissions received.
How to Submit:
To submit your work, please complete the online submission form available at warbling.co.uk/open-call. If you have any questions or require assistance with your submission, feel free to contact robyn@warbling.co.uk
