The National Council on Aging (NCOA) invites photographers from the United States to capture older adults 60+ who thrive through family bonds, friendships, and community involvement.

NCOA will grant the following awards: First Place Award: $1,000 Second Place Award: $600 Public Vote Award: $500 Eight Merit Awards: $300 each Ten Honorable Awards: $150 each

The Colburn School presents the 2026 Arkatov Photography Contest, celebrating the personal, human perspective of performing artists through still imagery, in honor of cellist and photographer James Arkatov.

Prizes In the External Photographer category – up to $2,500 in total award funds, to be distributed among one or more winners at the discretion of the judging panel In the Colburn Student Photographers category – up to $2,000 in total award funds, to be distributed among one or more winners at the discretion of the judging panel Winning photographs will be printed and displayed on the Colburn campus near the Arkatov collection.

WINTER 2026 OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS — Innovate Grant is pleased to introduce the newly increased award amounts of $1,800.00. Innovate Grant awards two $1,800.00 grants each quarter. One goes to an Artist and one Photographer.

Ann Jastrab is the juror for Portals: New Perspectives. She will be selecting up to 35 images for exhibition in our Middlebury, Vermont gallery and another 40 images for our Online Gallery.

Now in its 8th year, The 2026 Montgomery Photo Festival, is expecting more than 300 images from over 175 photographers. Sixty images will be selected for the exhibit. Up to 3 images may be entered for $35.00 USD
